Why we do what we do…

To give further background on how “The Motherland Project” came about, I had the opportunity of working with a friend in Nigeria who had the urge of giving back and making a difference. Her and I bought a car full of goods which included bags of rice, spaghetti, water, a few other food items and toiletries that many may take for granted in everyday use. As she dropped off the items, she video called me and what I saw was a group of innocent kids who did not ask to be there but due to unfortunate circumstances where there with great joy and big smiles on their faces and happy to see that someone cares. They showed their gratitude through singing songs of praise and even prayed for God to continue to bless us. At that point, I vowed to do more and give more when granted the opportunity to do so. Through KJ Attires, I now have a platform that will not only help those in need in Nigeria, but will help those in need all throughout the great continent of Africa!
With each purchase from our website, you now have the opportunity to help impact lives through “The Motherland Project,” a program we implemented that will assist motherless babies (Orphans) throughout the continent of Africa. A dollar will be donated from every item sold to several non-profit organizations that we are working with, whose focus is on providing and distributing basic necessities for children such as food, clothing, toiletries, and other household items that can make a difference in a child’s life.
